With more than 800 participants in the past years, Mensch und Computer is one of the largest conferences in the field of human-computer interaction in Europe. Every year the conference attracts participants from science and industry. This year’s program again consists of the scientific track “Human-Computer Interaction” (HCI) and the practitioner track “Usability Professionals” (UP).
We welcome contributions from academics and practitioners in the form of long papers, short papers, demos, workshops, tutorials, and doctoral colloquiums. To strengthen the international profile of the conference, we welcome and encourage submissions and presentations in English. Although the main conference language is traditionally German parts of the program are in English (e.g., keynotes, invited talks, selected talks).
The scientific long and short papers are published in the ACM Digital Library and each receives its own Digital Object Identifier (DOI). All accepted contributions will also be published, as before, in the Digital Library “Mensch-Computer Interaktion” of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (Society for Computer Science) as open access publications.
